Welcome to Bentley Hallow, our most ambitious project yet. This endeavor demanded our utmost dedication, marked by countless hours of toil and heartfelt determination. Every ounce of our effort was poured into this undertaking, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.
The residence had long languished uninhabited, plagued by past water issues that had left their mark. The basement required extensive renovation, including framing, sheetrock installation, electrical work, the addition of a complete bathroom, flooring, trim, and a fresh coat of paint. The rest of the house was ripe for updates and affectionate attention.
Given the sentimental value the home held for our client, we approached the project with reverence. Though not his primary residence, we aimed to fashion a space where he could find solace and joy for years to come. To maximize its utility during his absence, we opted to list it on Airbnb, informing many of our design decisions.
The kitchen underwent a complete overhaul. Its original layout was inadequate, lacking in storage, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Our goal was to optimize every inch of space, ensuring ample room to accommodate large gatherings and ample storage for essentials. Custom-built cabinets, including a spacious 10-foot island with a gas cooktop, were crafted to fit the space. Quartz countertops and a matte black herringbone backsplash from countertop to ceiling added a touch of elegance. We couldn't be more pleased with the result.
Throughout the house, we installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring in the main living areas and carpet in the bedrooms and living rooms. Bathrooms received tiled flooring, while every surface received a fresh coat of paint. Light fixtures, electrical switches and outlets, countertops, vanities, and furniture were all updated to enhance the home's allure.
The master bedroom suite was conceived as a sanctuary of comfort and tranquility. Walls adorned in a custom-mixed green hue provided a serene backdrop, complemented by neutral tones and creams. The bathroom was adorned with distressed subway tiles from floor to ceiling, accented by a rustic wood vanity that exuded charm and functionality. Guests particularly enjoyed the soaking tub with its picturesque view and the spacious shower.
Each bedroom was thoughtfully themed, catering to a range of tastes—from whimsical floral motifs for the girls to UFO-inspired decor for the alien enthusiasts among our guests.
To address previous drainage issues, we orchestrated a landscaping overhaul, ensuring not only improved functionality but also enhancing the property's aesthetic appeal and creating an idyllic setting for relaxation.
This project has left an indelible mark on our team, and we are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have been part of it.
